New Book

I just purchased Jonathan Pennington's Reading the Gospel Wisely. Here's the author explaining what it's all about.

I like his take. And I like what I've read about the book here and here.

I've begun reading the Gospel of Luke devotionally, using N. T. Wright's Luke for Everyone as my guide. Along with that I'm trying to make a personal study of the Sermon on the Mount. I expect this to be my focus in the coming year.

As for blogging, I really do want to get back to it on a more regular basis. We'll see!
