Songs of Place: The Streets of Baltimore
Here's one of those songs that embodies the sense of dislocation that is crucial to so much art (a thousand Irish songs and stories, a thousand blues songs and songs of the South). Famously recorded by Gram Parsons and he Flying Burrito Brothers, I still like Bobby Bare's version best.
