It's late January in New England and right on schedule I've got this itch for Springtime. I'm tired of the ice and the dirty piles of snow. I'm tired of bare trees, nothing green, and so few birds. So it's a good time to start a series of Spring songs around here. First up, Southland in the Springtime, just because it's the song that's been running through my head lately. This almost seems like something that could have been written by Hoagy Carmichael, it's that timeless.
