Standard of the Week: I'm Beginning to see the Light

The lyric was written by Don George (who also wrote The Yellow Rose of Texas!), and music by Duke Ellington among others. I've always loved this song, first the version by Ella, and later versions by Tony Bennett and Bobby Darin. But it seems only right to start things off with the Duke (along with the great Louis Armstrong).

I mentioned Bobby Darin. I'm a big fan.
