The rate of growth in the number of infections in the U.S. has slowed each day in the past week. It's going to be interesting to see if that holds up this coming week, given that we are being warned that this could be the worst week yet.
More possible good news: the recovery percentage (worldwide) has grown in the past couple of days. I take that to mean that the number recovering is growing faster than the number of new infections. The day will come when the column labeled "New Cases" at Worldometer is at zero. Fervently to be wished.
In our walks around our town in the past two days we noticed lots of kids playing in the street, wrestling and tumbling over one another with raucous laughter in front yards, riding bikes. There has been a real loveliness about these days.
