A few new polls were released yesterday, pushing the RCP Polling average up to a 7.1% lead for Biden. Once again the Rasmussen poll is the outlier, giving Biden only a 1% lead. But otherwise, ten of the last eleven polls, covering the last two weeks, range between 6 & 10% for Biden.
At this point the big hubbub in Punditland is that once again Trump has refused to assure Americans of a peaceful transfer of power in the event that he loses the election. His claim is that, if he loses, then the election was rigged. In fact, it almost seems that he is trying to lose the election. Presidential historian Michael Beschloss said he seems to be trying to blow up the electoral system. Does he feel that his best shot at staying in power is by gaming the system?
Jonathan V. Lat at the Bulwark says it best.
